How we handle your data
Last updated:
At a glance: Voder reads your Xero data to answer questions, and that’s all. It can’t change anything, it doesn’t store your figures, it’s encrypted.
Read-only access
Voder asks Xero only for read access. It can read your accounts to answer a question, but it cannot create, change, or delete anything in your Xero.
We don’t keep your financial data
When you ask a question, Voder fetches just what it needs from Xero in real time, returns the answer to your AI assistant, and discards the figures. We don’t store your invoices, balances, or transactions.
What we do store
Only what’s needed to run the service: your email, the organisations you can access, an encrypted Xero connection token, and any feedback notes. We also keep technical logs about each tool call (which tool ran and how long it took, never the parameter values or your figures). We don’t receive your chat with the assistant. Our Privacy Policy sets out everything we collect, how long we keep it, and how to ask us to delete it.
Where your data goes
- Voder’s primary database and encryption key are in Australia.
- Voder’s production application service runs in Google Cloud’s Singapore region.
- Sign-in emails are sent via Resend.
- Answers to your questions go to the AI assistant you connected (such as Claude or ChatGPT).
- Our logs record only the shape of activity, which tool ran and how long, never your figures.
